Classical Mythology: The First Generation of the Gods.

Gea, (the earth), born directly from Chaos, came to life without the help of any male element Uranus (the sky), the mountains and Pontus, the personification of the sea. It was a fatherless generation, born directly from Mother Earth and behind her the world as we know it was created.
